ABLE in 2025: A Year of Growth, Community Impact, and Expanding Autism Support
At ABLE, 2025 was a year marked by intentional growth, deeper community connections, and meaningful impact for children with autism and their families. From opening new clinics to strengthening partnerships, each milestone reflected our commitment to providing high quality ABA therapy to kids with autism in Tampa, Lakeland, Brandon, Clearwater and Plant City.
As we look back, we are proud to share the highlights that made 2025 such a powerful year for ABLE and the autism community we serve.
March 2025: Opening Our North Lakeland Clinic
We began the year by opening our North Lakeland clinic in March, located at 5516 US HWY 98 N, Lakeland, FL 33809.
This expansion addressed a growing demand for ABA therapy services in the area, and the clinic filled quickly with families seeking compassionate, evidence based autism support. The rapid growth of this location reinforced the importance of accessible ABA therapy in Lakeland and surrounding communities.
The North Lakeland clinic now serves as a structured and welcoming space where children work on communication, social skills, and daily living goals through individualized ABA programs.
Strengthening Community Partnerships Throughout the Year
Community involvement remained a core focus throughout 2025. ABLE proudly partnered with MOSI in Tampa and participated in their Sensory Hours on a bimonthly basis, providing children with autism and sensory sensitivities a safe and inclusive environment to explore, learn, and enjoy hands on experiences.
We took part in the ESE Agency Fair organized by Pinellas County School Social Workers in Clearwater in April, connecting with educators and families while sharing resources about ABA therapy and autism services.
In June, our clinical team presented at the Karol Jenkins Center in Lakeland, offering guidance to parents on understanding behavior, communication, and daily challenges through an ABA-informed lens. These educational opportunities empowered families with practical strategies and strengthened collaboration between parents and professionals.
During the summer, we hosted camps across all of our locations, creating fun, structured opportunities for learning, growth, and social connection. Our South Lakeland Social Group proudly organized its very first Car Wash Fundraiser. With minimal support from their therapists, the kids planned and ran the entire event themselves. Through their hard work and teamwork, they raised enough funds to bring in a Video Game Bus, giving them a unique opportunity to practice social skills, collaboration, and communication while having fun together.
Later in the year, we joined the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Down Syndrome and Special Needs Buddy Walk in October in Tampa, standing alongside families to celebrate inclusion, awareness, and community support.
November 2025: Expanding to Plant City
In November, we soft-opened our Plant City clinic at 1601 W Reynolds St, Plant City, FL 33563.
This expansion was driven by a clear need for more autism resources in the Plant City community. We are excited to bring ABA therapy, autism awareness, and family centered support to local families, and we look forward to continuing to grow this location in the year ahead.
Navigating Challenges With Purpose
While 2025 brought many victories, it also required thoughtful decisions. In Clearwater, we made the difficult choice to close our clinic location and focus exclusively on in school and in home ABA services. This decision allowed us to better serve families in the ways that were most effective and accessible for their needs.
Even through challenges, our mission remained clear, and our commitment to the autism community never wavered and that lead us to to our biggest milestone of the year.
Serving a Record Number of Children Across Central Florida
By the end of 2025, ABLE reached a record-breaking milestone of 256 active active patients across our service areas. Each child represents a unique journey of growth, learning, and progress supported by our dedicated team of BCBAs, therapists, and support staff.
This milestone reflects not only growth in numbers but also growth in impact, as we continue improving the quality of life for children with autism through individualized ABA therapy.
Looking Ahead to 2026 With Gratitude and Purpose
As we move into 2026, we do so with gratitude for the families who trust us, the communities who support us, and the children who inspire us every day. 2025 was a strong year for ABLE, and more importantly, a meaningful year for the autism community we serve across Lakeland, Tampa, Brandon, Plant City, and Clearwater.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s journey.
